Escalante Fremont Monitors Cadillac Pearl White

These are some of my favorite speakers of all time but I simply have WAY too much AV gear and am looking to move so need to clean house!

These are in excellent shape and come in the premium Cadillac pearl white finish (a $2,000 up charge!) with brushed aluminum side panels. These speakers are some 93.6 dB efficient yet, according to Matt Waldron, president of Escalante, can be plugged into a 15 amp outlet and will produce some 130 dB of 60 Hz noise without blowing the drivers or crossover! They can be driven by flea powered tubes to insane powered SS amps and are extremely fast and dynamic. The basic design is from Terry Budge (formerly of Wilson Audio) and the dual 12" woofers are tweaked to be the fastest drivers ever and it really shows in their reproduction of the bottom end. These speakers can reproduce a drum set like nothing else I have ever heard except maybe the MBL 101's with full MBL ref gear, they are that good!

These speakers are in excellent cosmetic shape and function perfectly, they will come shipped in four crates and weigh some 650 pounds shipped so shipping will not be inexpensive. Local pick up is welcome, as are auditions in the Tampa/St Pete area of Florida for serious buyers.
