This unit was inspected by Nelson Pass about a month or so ago and checked out perfectly. It has a transferrable 3 year warranty. I bought this as a used, factory certified unit from Reno Hifi (very highly recommended, by the way). It has some minor blemishes if you look hard. These were there when I got the amp, but you don't buy this amp for its looks.
It really sounds great and I was thinking of keeping it even though I am buying a Pass Labs amplifier to replace it (need just a little more power).
Yes, the price is high. I am putting this out there to see if someone wants the amplifier more than I want to keep it. This a collector's item -- only 100 were made. It is by far the most popular First Watt design.
I will include shipping in the continental US and will not charge extra fees for paypal. Local pickup is also welcome. I will only have this listed for about 10 days because I have to decide whether I want to keep it by then.
