Forte' Model 55 Very clean, 100 watts per channel into 8ohms, Class A/B powerhouse

Flat shipping charge of $30 to CONUS, no PAYPAL fee...packed carefully. A fine example of what seems to be Threshold/Forte's last stand...closer to an 8 than a 7, a very sweet sounding amp with balanced or single ended inputs. This seems to be a later bipolar version and not IGBT based. In any case it's a really powerful amp in clean, pampered shape with barely any signs of wear....near perfect cosmetically. Quiet running, amazing soundstage, tight bass...a very well made little gem of an amp, built like a tank, and upgradeable (Jon Soderberg at Vintage amp repair) although I haven't heard the need for that. A Manual (obtained from another 55 owner, but close enough) and generic IEC cable are included. Local pickup fine and for that I'll subtract the shipping fee. Update...this amp might actually have bipolar transistors according to an old message I dug up.
