FRITZ CARBON 7 SCAN SPEAK MONITORS

This Carbon 7 monitor features a 7 inch Carbon Graphite Fiber/Paper Pulp cone mid/bass driver & a 1 inch Silk dome tweeter, both made by Scanspeak. Scanspeak supplies the drivers that are used in many of the worlds finest & very expensive & highly rated top name brand models. (ProAc, Merlin, Wilson, Sonus Faber & Vienna Acoustics to name a few) Loudspeaker designs that use Scanspeak top of the line driver components typically retail for 2-5 times more. The crossovers are hard wired using hand-measured & matched components.

The sensitivity is 87 dB & they work well with tubes, although they really perform at their best with a good high current & high powered amp. They do not compress or lose any steam as they get louder. They sound great whether you play them loud or soft, they will put out whatever you put into them. They have great bass response down to below 40 Hz. (On the Rives test disc, there's bass on the 31.5 Hz track & even some on the 25 Hz track!)

These are a stand mounted design that I've built for about 10-12 years. They feature a 7 inch ScanSpeak 8545K Carbon fiber/paper pulp cone and a 1 inch 9500 silk dome tweeter in a 17 liter bass reflex cabinet with fantastic bass response to below 40 Hz, with a very natural sounding mid/range & airy highs.

The series crossovers that I have in this model do not have any capacitors or resistors in the circuit with the tweeters. This allows for a much better sounding midrange & highs with a wider & deeper sound stage. Absolutely no need for silly & really expensive cap upgrades that add big $$'s to the price of other custom loudspeaker systems.
My series crossovers only use one smaller inductor on the ScanSpeak mid/bass driver. Most woofer crossovers typically have a couple of large coils which suck up lots of power & good sound.

The loudspeaker enclosures are fine furniture grade quality cabinets personally hand built by me in California (not overseas!) and are covered in your choice of genuine wood veneers, then lacquered or hand rubbed & oiled. (Check out my custom finishes page of my web site) My standard finishes are Cherry, Maple, Mahogany, Oak & Walnut with a wide selection of other finishes available at extra cost, as are some other upgrades.

I live in LA & the San Francisco Bay area, so these (and my other models) are available for a personal in-home audition in California from San Diego to north of the San Francisco bay area. Check these out on your system in your own acoustic environment.

All others may audition my models in-home risk free as I have a money back guarantee (less shipping) if you are not absolutely delighted with the performance of my loudspeakers in your system.

Check out my web site- FRITZSPEAKERS.COM for more info on all my other models. For more info or to arrange a demo, call 310 379 8190 or 415 225 0189 or E-mail me your phone number and I will call you back.
