I have a pair of Anthony Gallo Reference 3. As I understand it this might be the exact same speaker as the 3.1, as this does not have the tweeter switch in the rear.
As you can see in the pictures, one speaker had the lower dust cap pushed in by my next door neighbor's kid. Once I peeled myself off the ceiling, I called Gallo and they kindly sent me a new one and stated that it's cosmetic anyway. They said to use modeling glue to reaffix, but I could never get the right seating of the cap and so just used without for the past 2 years with no ill effects on the sound.
The rest of the speakers are in solid 7/10 condition. The black grills are included and have some slight wear on the top corners. I have all the original shipping boxes, etc.
I think I've tried to price these fairly given the cosmetic damage. However, I've struggled with how to rate these on Audiogon's scale, so opted for the lowest above scrap.
I live in Scottsdale and would really encourage anyone who wants to come by to give them a listen to contact me. They are really some of the best speakers I've heard and were The Absolute Sound overall product of the year in 2004 (I believe).
Please let me know if I can provide any additional pictures or narrative on the condition of these.
