This pair of Audio Physics Classic 30 is in premium Gloss White Glass. The condition is excellent. I purchased these in the spring of 2015 and have enjoyed them immensely with a Devialet 120. Just purchased a great pair of Magico speakers and therefore am considering selling the AP 30's.
The sale includes owner's manual, original shipping boxes, 2 sets of original baffles, original spike feet, Audio Physics VCF II M8 feet ($440) and Mapleshade Brass Feet ($340). Will ship anywhere in US but would prefer a New England pickup.
The Classic 30 has dimensions of 41.5” high x 6.7” wide x 16.1” deep and weighs in at 59 lbs. Recommended amplifier power is 25 to 180 watts. Nominal impendance is 4 Ohms, with a sensitivity of 89 dB and a quoted frequency range of 31 Hz to 30,000 Hz

| In the photos of the speakers, I don't see the star-shaped acoustic panel that surrounds the tweeter that promotes even dispersion, was this added to the newer model shown in the literature photos you provided? This model does have the two 7" woofers in the base? The Tweeter has a star shaped surround - it is just hard to see - I can add a closer photo if that helps. And yes the speakers have two 7" woofers in the base of each speaker. |
| Can you explain the High Gloss Glass finish? Is it actually a glass veneer covering all sides? The speaker cabinet is covered on the front, top, and sides with approx. 1/4" thick glass that is painted white on the back side. There is no glass on the rear of the cabinet. In addition to aesthetic benefits, the glass (unlike the wood veneers Audio Physics also offer) provides additional damping of the cabinet. If you zoom in on the pictures you should be able to get a sense of what it looks like. Also look the 30's up on Audio Physics website for more info. |
