DBX Soundfield 10 Rare Vintage Speakers

Excellent sounding rare DBX Soundfield 10
vintage speakers. The speakers date from 1986 and were highly acclaimed when
introduced. They still sound excellent. Includes the very hard-to-find controller
and manual. The speakers are omni-directional and are known for sounding
excellent and at the same volume regardless of where the listener is
positioned. Original price was $1,500. Cabinets have some dings and two of the grill
cloths has discoloration at the bottom. Replaced all four woofer surrounds last year. See photos.

The speakers include:

A Controller that is like an equalizer. The speaker crossover
fixes the soundfield (frequency) direction, the EQ box fixes the frequency
volume. They will not sound well without it. The controller has:

Spectral Tilt knob

Sub Bass knob

Ambience knob ...

You need to place the controller before the amp (between the music source and
the amp) , so separate amps or a "pre-out" connection is required to
use these speakers.
