Diapason NUX 2-way floorstanding

Offered for sale is a NEW-IN-BOX pair of the original Diapason NUX 2-way floorstanding loudspeakers, one of the most beautiful & unique loudspeakers ever designed. Italian craftsmanship at its finest.  Easy to drive (91dB sensitivity, 8 ohm impedance) and easy to enjoy.

They were designed to be an all-around loudspeaker, comfortable in a music system AND in a home theater environment, featuring a custom isodynamic (similar to a ribbon) tweeter, and a crossover-less, full-range bass woofer. They are great-sounding with both solid-state & tube amplifiers, including integrateds and high-quality home theater receivers.

I used the NUX at CES / T.H.E. SHOW a number of times, pairing them with the E.A.R. V20 (24 watts), the E.A.R. 834 integrated (50 watts), and the E.A.R. 534 (55 watts).  They also sounded incredible with a couple of Mark Levinson solid-state integrateds, and a Leben CS300X integrated (15 watts).

I also found that they enjoy playing in a very small room as well, with a good amount of "toe-in"....this helps create a nearfield listening experience, which must be heard if you haven't tried it already.
