Eggleston Andra

One of the original pairs of Andras, serial number 254. Replaced all 4 woofers two years ago with replacements purchased from Eggleston and replaced tweeters a little over a year ago with Eggleston replacements. Woofers are finally broke in nicely and the speakers sound great just like the originals that were so highly reviewed. There's a review from Stereophile from Oct 97 that gives an in-depth description. I received these from a client that purchased them new and had them in storage for several years. The foam woofer surround were rotten from age so I replaced them with the new woofers that have butyl surround so they should last forever. The cabinets are in really poor shape hence why I've given them a poor quality rating. If you don't care about aesthetics and are looking for an awesome sounding pair of speakers at a fraction of the price then these are for you.
