Emerald Physics loudspeakers are open baffle cone dipoles of great efficiency, 95db. You can drive them with any high quality amplification from SET tubes to class D. Imagine the dynamics of horns combined with the openness of electrostatics. The reviews have been stellar. I picked these up at the factory in Colorado and haven’t opened the boxes. (I decided to downsize.) These were trade back, meaning that a customer tried them out, I think. The speakers are gloss black. In addition to the speakers, the system includes a DSP, digital room correction, the DSPeaker Anti-Mode Dual Core 2.0 bass room correction, which is a Stereophile Class A recommended product that lists for $1200. It is set up for the speakers placed 36 inches from the rear wall. Emerald Physics can reprogram the DSP if you wish to use another. They take at least 100 hours to break in. See reviews below. I can deliver the speakers within 60 miles of Seattle. It was estimated that shipping all four boxes (two speakers, crossover/DSP, and stands) would have cost $1000. Local pick up is recommended.
