Fleud Audio Imperativ speaker system

Very pleasant, slightly forward sound character.
Enjoyed music from Buena Vista Social Club to Wagner.

Played them through tube and solid state amplification.
Sounds good either way.

Vifa Heavy Monitors with stands
built with High quality Vifa drivers. The crossover is built with high quality Polyprpolene Capacitors, Copper Foil and air core inductors and Metal Oxide Resisitors.

frequency response for the satellites is;
50Hz to 30kHz +/- 3db

Sensitivity is 88db

Nominal power handling is 70 watts per speaker. The stands and monitors are built with Oak veneered plywood and MDF. The speaker cabinets have acoustic foam and Golden Ratio internal bracing and the stands have sand fill and some foam fill.
Speakers are 22 lbs each and the stands are @28lbs each. When used together it makes for a very clean presentation.



Bass bin is a downfiring, reflecting and powered woofer.It has a mounted 100 watt amplifier with adjustments for crossover frequency to the satellites and for volume level of the woofer. The cabinet is a trapezoidal shape with internal bracing and acoustic foam treatment. all for very low cabinet resonance and very clean bass response.
Brings system response into the low 30s.
