Focal 814V Gloss Black

This is a pair of Focal Chorus 814V speakers in Gloss black. They were a special production speaker made available only to Circuit City and Tweeter back in the day. They are the exact same as a Focal Chorus 716V but with a Gloss Black finish instead of dull black.

Condition is excellent. Maybe a swirl in the gloss from wiping with a microfiber cloth. No matter what you use they will get the marks. Nothing that could be termed a scratch and certainly no dings, chips, or dents.

One owner traded in. Non smoker, no kids. Low hours. Only 3 years old. In storage for the last year. Original boxes.

These towers play with excellent scale. A clear step up in presence from book shelf speakers. Highs are crisp and clean without being fatiguing. Bass is solid but you would want a sub if you plan on a steady diet of hip hop, rap, or Tocata and Fugue.

Overall a very neutral, accurate, and musical speaker.

Focal speakers don't ship well unless you know what you are doing. We have shipped dozens of them. They will have extra foam or bubble wrap on the interior and at least the four side circumfrance will be wrapped in an extra layer of triple strength cardboard.
