Focal JM Labs 1028 Be in Zebrano w ... speaker cozies!!!!

Offered here is a pair of Focal 1028Be full-range speakers in the now-discontinued Zebrano wood finish.

First the bad news: there is a sliver of veneer missing from the LH edge of one of the speakers: it's 0.6" long and 0.2" high.  Barely noticeable but it's there.  Other than that, cosmetically the speakers are in stellar condition.

Now for the good news: quite simply, this is one of the best pair of speakers you can buy at $9,000.  At $4,750 they're positively unbeatable.  I've owned about a dozen Focal speaker pairs in the past 10 years and I've always been satisfied with their performance.

This particular pair has been never abused, always driven at moderate volumes by either an ARC Ref 110 or (more recently) a pair of Pass Labs XA-100.5's.

The sole reason for selling this pair is that I've went backwards (waaaayyyy backwards) and purchased a pair of Martin Logan CLS IIz's - the dream speaker of my youth - we'll see how long this infatuation lasts....

How obsessive I am about these speakers is evinced by the fact that I have not one but two pair of speaker cozies custom-made for them by a nice lady in the Russian Federation.  She also made the speaker cozies for my Quad ESL57's.  I know, I know ... I should be ashamed to admit to such things....

-- One set of floor anchors with spikes (necessary if the speakers are to be placed on carpeted surfaces).
