GREEN MOUNTAIN AUDIO CONTINUUM C3/HX Roy's absolute best

Roy's flagship speaker originally. They are a discontinued model now. They were upgraded to HX status from the previous HD--only 3 of these exist. The wiring was upgraded to Marigo, crossovers changed, and Audio Magic did their wire zapping. The HX upgrade $2000 in addition to the cost of the HD upgrade. The speakers were also fully reconditioned at that time. This was all done 3 years ago. They are now as fine a speaker as Roy makes. Roy checked every aspect of the speakers before shipping them to me. They are time-aligned and phase coherent. They allow the listener to see into the performance and increase your involvement with the music. Plus, that 12" woofer is amazing!! You will NOT need a sub, yet the bass blends beautifully with the other drivers. They have been used very little in the past 2 years (too many speakers). Read the review in the GMA retired models for the original C3's and this pair of speakers is 2 upgrades better sounding with much improved clarity and dynamics. The pair have cherry panels. I have the original shipping boxes but would prefer a local sale. Located in the SW suburbs of Chicago.
