Thiel Audio CS-3.5 in beautiful Rosewood finish!

A true classic from Thiel, the CS3.5 in Rosewood finish!  One of the most beautiful finishes ever in a speaker cabinet.   The drivers inside have held up well and the speaker still sounds as it did 25 years ago when it was new!  No driver rot here, as Thiel had the foresight to use drivers with butyl rubber suspensions, NOT foam.   The tweeters do have some dimples on them as you can see, but you can't tell that from the sound quality.  The Thiel Equalizer for this speaker is included as well which extends the bass down to the low 20 hz region according to the original brochure. There are a couple of cabinet "dings" as you can see in the pics, but these are on the bottom rear corners that are not that visible from the front.  Overall, in very nice condition for an older classic speaker!   This will have to be a local Northwest (Seattle area) sale, as I have no boxes, so don't ask me to ship.  Get them now at an incredible price.  Holds up nicely in sound quality to speakers now costing upwards of $3000!   Indeed, if these were made today, they probably would have to cost at least $10K if not more.  Paypal adds 3% and local sales tax applies unless you're from Oregon or Alaska.
