Janszen Loudspeaker Carmelita (ZA1.1) with Airlayer Standmount Electrostatic Speakers

A pair of Carmelitas in excellent condition in maple finish. These wonderful speakers, see the Robert Greene review in TAS (http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/janszen-za11-electrostatic-hybrid-stand-mounted-loudspeaker/) are nearly new. They were the actual review pair written about by Robert Greene that I purchased directly from David Janszen. The warranty is transferable.

Unlike most electrostatics, these will play really loudly, are very robust, and are NOT dipoles. Along with their directivity they are thus less room dependent and more easily placed in the room. Because they are hybrids, with dynamic bass, the bass response is good to 30Hz.

I am only selling due to having just bought a pair of the full size Valentinas (on Audiogon).
There is a small blemish in the finish on the right rear top corner due to shipping that was repaired as best possible by Janszen before sending to me. I have tried to photograph it - look carefully at the picture to see it in the corner.

The stands in the photo are not included except in the case of local pick-up, in which case I will include them.
