Rating 6/10: Their are some marks on the sides of the Black Ashe Side panels, there are also a few black Marks on the top of the speaker, Grill Panel has 2" of material that's bulging top Left Corner See Pictures (2 out of the 4) rubber feet are missing off one speaker.

Buyer will make all arrangements and pay (Banner Packing) Local Shipping/Crating company for all costs associated with this process. Banner Packing has been in business for over 10 years, they do excellent packing and Crating! They have relationships with numerous Freight Forwarders they can pick up the speakers from me (Their PickUp Fee $100 - $150)

Crating Cost $375. (+ Pick Up $100-$150) for 1" x 3" Pine wood Framing with Cardboard and 1" Flexible Styrofoam.

Other crating companies Charging $450, - $500! for the Pair. Crates add 75Lbs each! Shipping Weight (200lbs each)

These Cannot be shipped FedEx or UPS Ground as they exceed weight requirements, Can only be shipped by a Freight Forwarder.

My 946s have a very detailed midrange and treble. I find my 946 Electras to sound neutral although some components and cables can make them sound bright and forward. I am using Threshold power and pre amps with my 946s and have no complaints and have heard various Electra models driven by amps such as Pass Labs, Krell, and Bel Canto and all sounded very good. The 946 Electras do have a lot of bass energy

I own a pair of 946 Electra's and I have heard the 937 Be's at a local dealer. The complete Electra line are ALL fabulous speakers. I like the 946 because it is a rather large size speaker and gives a large live type sound due to the cabinet size and the dual 10 inch woofers. Later on a local dealer got a set of the 937 Be's in and when I heard them I was expecting them to not be quite as strong in the bass department because they only have 8 inch woofers but I was very surprised that the bass energy was very close to my 946 Electras. The Be tweeter is truly amazing and is very highly rated as being possibly the world's best tweeter. As good as the 946 Electras are, the 937 Be's are still a little smoother sounding and a little better in imaging, transparency, detail, very close to Utopia level. Although they might give up a small bit of bass energy and slam to the 946's, their exceptional midrange and treble performance make up for it"
