Nice set of classic, 4-way floorstanders from the 90's (a great time for KEF). Bi-wire or Bi-amp, they have very solid double binding posts.These have the rich, laid back sound that KEF was famous for. The 105/3's were top of the line and still sound great.
These speakers are in very good physical condition with usual minor marks consistent with their age and a little poofiness around the edge of the grille fabric. One grille fits a little loose but does not fall off on it's own. The double woofers have been recently re-foamed and the crossovers recapped. I've downgraded the condition rating only because of the age of the speakers, not because there's anything wrong with them. Reasonable offers will be considered.
These babies weigh over 90 lbs. a piece so local pickup is preferred but will ship at your expense (including cost of packing)

The speakers are tall and heavy. I gave the measurements and weight to our local shipping store and got an estimate for shipping them to a Philadelphia area zip code. I was told approximately $45 each to construct shipping boxes and pack the speakers; and about $120 each for insured shipping by FedEx ground. I guess you could figure a little higher to ship further. |
