Klipsch Belle Description :
I purchased these from a gentleman in Portland about three years ago. The crossovers were upgraded with units designed and built by Bob Crites, then rewired with Monster cable. I had smoked, tempered glass tops cut. I placed them in my living room for the first two years where they were powered with a pair of small tube amplifiers. These speakers sound incredible when paired with the proper amp and placed correctly in the right sized room.
I have now downsized and these beauties are stuck in my man cave where I have switched to a more "PA" style system. I just cant get them to voice correctly in the new room.
The cabinets are not perfect but I would rate them 8/10. All the drivers all operate perfectly and the speakers sound great. I have the older Alnico mids and they have a bit of pitting on them but function just fine. I had the newer style mids and I will offer both sets if I can locate. I personally preferred the Alnico sound. Aesthetically there may be a few small cabinet scuffs here and there. I believe the previous owner had them painted black, so it's not a "stock" finish but the quality of the work was very good. I preferred black, so if that is your desired finish, they might be worth your consideration. Klipsch Heritage Series is it's own breed; those folks who love them this is an opportunity to own a classic.
I think they are priced very reasonably considering what I paid and the cost of the tempered glass tops. I have seen sets in worse condition, sell for more I think the typical selling price is around $1700-2000.
The speakers are available for a demo. LOCAL SALE ONLY
