Marten Design Heritage Miles 5 Piano Walnut

Great 2-way ceramic driver speakers up for sale from Marten Design of Sweden. Reason for sale? my MartinLogan Renaissance ESL 15A's need an obstruction free room. If it wasn't for the room issue I'd be keeping these for many years (I don't usually say that about any speaker) they are ridiculously good at the asking price. Money wire/transfer preferred but PayPal is find if buyer covers fees. I'm firm on the price so no offers.

I'm the original owner. I feel they are a step forward from the Wilson Sophia 2's they replaced in all aspects but the deepest bass. With that said the Miles 5 are rated down to 28Hz and they dig deep. VERY easy to drive and they provide a massive soundstage and killer imaging. I've never heard a speaker under 70lbs deliver this kind of sound (it's as good as I've heard at the price point as well). They may look pretty short in pics but they are near the height of a PSB T3. In person the design and finish is pure class with a sound that will impress and surprise anyone listening. This is a full range speaker without being super bulky. The Miles 5 is designed to be placed close to walls without any big loss in sound quality. What else can I say? Accuton based speakers are awesome. A great alternative to the usual Focal and B&W offerings. Sadly when I was unboxing the Miles 5 a pair of speaker stands hit the side of one speaker and left a mark (pic in ad). It's not a big deal and I haven't seen it when they are placed the room...just providing full disclosure. There are the usual swirls you get from owning speakers with piano finish. Buyer pays all shipping. Due to the size and weight these are super speakers that won't hit you that hard in the wallet with shipping costs compared to similar quality crated speakers.
