Meridian DSP 8000 Silver

DSP 8000, in excellent condition, an amazing speaker at a fraction of the cost new. I purchased in 2004. More information can be found on the Meridian website (https://www.meridian-audio.com/products/loudspeakers/dsp8000-digital-active-loudspeaker/) but to paraphrase, this is 5 way, powered audio system, complete with five amplifiers, the DAC, and electronic crossovers, and preamp, all built in. The result is nothing short of astounding. The metallic silver color has to be on of the best finish, as it tends to take on the colors within the room, and or remain neutral. If you are a Meridian user today, you probably know you can obtain the Meridian Special Edition upgrade, which not only steps up to Speaker Link, but upgrades the entire system to current standards, at a fraction of the cost of purchasing the Special Edition version of this speaker new. I am located near the north Los Angeles area borderline into Ventura County, in Thousand Oaks. Local pick up is preferred as these speakers are large and heavy.
