NHT 2.9 Speakers in very good condition. Asking price reduced !!

These speakers are in 100% operational condition and cosmetically the drivers and the cabinet are in excellent shape, no scratches/scuffs, dings...nothing. The one blemish is on one of the speakers/ There is a piece of 1/4" thick foam that runs along the midrange and tweeter. Its about 5" long. The top and bottom inch are partially rubbed away as the foam is getting brittle. SEE 2nd PICTURE. The purpose of the foam is to lessen defracted sound emanating from the outside edge of the speaker. I cannot detect any anomalies in the sound on this speaker. It images just as the other speaker which is to say the speakers disappear. They also have excellent tight tuneful base that when called upon to deliver impact do so with authority. A copy of the owners manual and tech manual are included.
