These were just done for me last month, and probably are not even broken in yet. They were display's at the Rocky Mountain show and then brought back to Odyssey where the full Kismet upgrade was done, which included an additional $100 charge for the WBT terminals. The blue finish is somewhat darker in person than the photos taken with flash show. I love the color - much more attractive to me than a "plain Jane" wood finish. I have found that they "disappear" much more than many seemingly more neutral speakers have in my room. The finish on these is very good - but NOT perfect. There are a couple of areas where the paint is a little "light", and the ridges that separate the sides from the front and top show some lack of full paint coverage. This never bothered me in the least, as from a couple feet away it cannot be seen, and the color tends to obscure the imperfections. But, as the saying goes, if you need things perfect - these may not be for you.
The most important thing tho is the sound, and they sound terrific !! The Scanspeak drivers are simply incredible, and the crossover is what completely separates the standard Lorelei's from the Kismets. I know, because I have now had both. Odyssey does not to my knowledge publish any info or specs on the Kismet's, but for the price of a decent mini monitor you will get a full range marvel. The Kismet price is $ 3,600 and I paid the additional $100 for the WBT's, so I am asking less than half. They were shipped to me in new double boxes. Please contact with any questions. I do not take paypal. Other life priorities dictate sale. Sorry about the blurry photo. I had to attempt several times to load photos, so if you would like more photos let me know, I can email them to you. Thanks for looking.
