Great sound is the obvious reason for designing a new loudspeaker. This objective is easily met by the new Ballerina 401/8 DPG designed by Pearl Evolution in Italy.
Reviews from leading publications in the High End Audio field attest to the excellence of this original design.
The stunning aesthetic presentation of these loudspeakers is the living proof of the engineering concept that form follows function.
The graceful shape of these loudspeakers approximating the shape of a cello, beyond all technical considerations, in meant to enchant the eye, literally becoming an art object.
This is truly Italiam design at it best! Acoustically, thanks to the open baffle design of the midrange and the high frequency drivers, the sound is open, detailed, free from colorations inherent to most box speaker designs (D.P.G).
These Ballerina speakers are capable of re-creating faithfully a musical event and the are equally at home with rock, jazz, and classical music.
The exceptional high quality components employed in building these speakers ensure a very long time of musical enjoyment.
Pearl Evolution introduces an improvment proprietary to our line of speakers: a new larger bass box equiped with Dynamic Pressure Guide (D.P.G.). The D.P.G. is a substantial and radical innovation in loudspeaker design. The D.P.G. differs from the usual internal bracing - that only aim at reducing box vibrations - because it will orientate a great part of air flow toward the Cremonesi - Venturi port, reducing in the meantime air pressure on the box walls.
