Proac Response D25 floorstanding speakers. Highly acclaimed! $5,000 MSRP

The D25 speaker you see here is the replacement model after the highly successful Response 2.5 speakers (one of most favorite pair of speakers). If you like the velvet smoothness of the Response 2.5s, you will love the D25. It inherited pretty much the same warmth, richly textured sound, smooth highs and a nicely rounded bottom end that we have come to enjoy with the 2.5s. Except now, the D25 is a bit more "lively", more dynamic sounding. It is still lacking the deep bass slam found on some competing brands at the $5,000 category but you have to be a bass junkie to find that it is short of it. For us, it was a perfectly blended package. We love how vocals were well placed and imaged in its intimate presentation. Room placement and good quality amplification is critical in achieving that.

Speakers are 42" tall, 9" wide and 10" deep. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a sensitivity of 88dB. Although Proac recommends a minimum of 25W, we prefer to go with 50W or more. The speakers sounded much better.

The speakers generally are in very good condition. It is evident that the previous owner took great care of it. Very minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Spike kit is included and speakers will be securely packed for safe shipping. Speakers will be shipped in two boxes so multiply by two for actual shipping cost.
