This listing is for a pair of Revel Ultima Studio 2 speakers in the Piano Black finish. The speakers and grilles are in beautiful condition. I don't see any scratches, mars, or tears anywhere. I have the original boxes, owner's manuals, spikes, and the jumpers for the binding posts.
The doors that hide the speaker binding posts have been removed. They can be re-installed, but the doors severely limit speaker cable options. Most heavy gauge wires cannot be used with the doors in place, unless they are left open. I preferred the cleaner look with the doors removed. The doors will be shipped in a separate package.
The speakers have been used in a smoke, pet, and child free environment.
I'm moving and will not have space for these speakers until I finish the basement. I'm not sure how soon that will happen so I've decided to sell the speakers rather than store them. I've priced the speakers aggressively. That doesn't imply anything is wrong with them. Check my feedback. But if I sell the speakers now, I won't need to move them to my new house.
The speakers will ship in 2 boxes that are 50x31x17" each. They weigh 70# each. Shipping weight total is 140#. I have spoken to Revel and they told me the speakers should only be shipped via freight, on a pallet, in an upright orientation.

| Are you sure these are not 140lbs EACH, too much for UPS or FED Ex? The speakers are 70# each. However, I've talked to Revel about shipping them and they said the speakers should not be shipped via UPS or FedEx. The speakers need to be palletized in an upright orientation for safe shipping.
Shipping cost depends on distance, but also on what services are required for delivery. For instance, the speakers can be delivered to a residence (most expensive), a business (less expensive), or to the shipper's dock (least expensive). I looked into shipping the speakers from Michigan to Texas and the prices ranged from a low of $295 (to the ABF dock) to a high of $440 (to a residence). In addition, third party insurance for the value of the speakers would need to be added. I didn't check on the cost for insurance, but when I've purchased it in the past it wasn't too expensive. Last year I purchased $11k worth of insurance and it only cost $75. |
