Saba Green Cones Reso

German Saba Green Cone "Reso" (Resonator) Speakers. These were made from a kit that I got from someone in Germany a few years back. I put together the cabinets with help from a finish carpenter, all glued. The cabinet is hollow, like a guitar hence the "reso". Many coats of shelac and then a lacquer finish. Internal wiring is silver and the binding posts are really nice Cardas ones that screw in and out. A single Mundorf capacitor for the tweeter which you can change the value to suit your tastes. The Saba cones also came from Germany and were matched and are flawless. These are made specifically for very low wattage, tube s.e.t. amplifiers. I have powered these speakers with 2A3, 300B, EL84 and spud amplifiers. They don't need more than a few watts. Selling because I no longer have any tube amplifiers and downsizing some audio gear. Rated an 8 as the finish is not factory but it's not terrible either, no dings or scratches. Lots of info on the web about these speakers. Not suitable for head-banging heavy metal...
