The MB-3.5 is the top of the line and larger of the 
two floor standing speakers. It is a killer $5,400.00 pair of slim floorstanding speakers.  

They are great for mid-sized and larger rooms. They use 
the Scansonic ribbon tweeter and two 
4.5” carbon-coned drivers in a 2.5 way design with the second woofer assisting in the power demanding mid bass region. 

They also have two 6.5" aluminum coned woofers for additional bass support down to 30Hz.  

The 4.5" dual carbon midrange-woofers and 6.5"woofers are run in series for increased power handling. 

They offer exceptional soundstaging coupled with great detail big bass extension and wonderful imaging. They competeway above their modest price range.

The MB- 3.5’s cabinet is heavily braced and curved, with carbon reinforcements.

The rounded edges of the cabinet reduce diffraction and minimize the sonic imprint on the tonal balance. 

The speaker is crossed over at 3.5 kHz, and the second mid-woofer assists up to 200 Hz. The 4.5" Carbon coned bass/midrange drivers use an overhung magnet system. The midrange crosses over at 3.5KHz the sealed ribbon tweeter. Resolution is superb and imaging and sound staging are outstanding.
