System: 3-Way floor standing vented box loudspeaker
Cabinet: Lute-shaped design ensures excellent stiffness avoiding resonances and standing waves. Sub-structural ribs are strategically placed for absolute rejection of spurious vibrations and standing waves control
Tweeter: 1" (25mm) Custom design, high-definition coated fabric dome driver with a wide soft polymer surround and a rear chamber
Midrange: 6" (150mm) Custom designed cone driver featuring a compression-free basket design with thermo-molded polypropylene textile cone. Excellent dynamic performance from optimized synergy with its acoustic chamber
Woofer: 9" (220mm) lightweight Aluminum/Magnesium alloy cone driver with ultra-dynamic performance and linearity. Special coaxial anti-compressor is employed to remove cavity resonances and distortions
Crossover: Non-resonant second-order design, optimized phase characteristics for exceptional space/time performance.

| What makes these Liutos "unique" from standard Liutos? Is it the wood? Is it the internal wiring? Please note the word unique in our advertisement refers to the fact that the Sonus Faber model has been discontinued and has unique qualities when related to other floor standing such as it's 'unique three-dimensional audio characteristics'.
To clarify 'unique' refers to Liuto models in general, not that these speakers have been specifically modified. |
