HiVi / Swans Speaker Systems Diva 6.3 Home Theater

Upon its
first release in 2000, Diva series was awarded Exceptional Value Award at
T.H.E. Show in Las Vegas. Later in the next year, it was used by Dolby Digital
to demonstrate the new surround sound format for movies. In 2010, the third
generation system, Diva 6.3HT was released. The system includes two front
speakers Diva 6.3F, a center speaker Diva 6.3C and two dipole surround speakers
Diva 6.3R. Active subwoofer Sub10D is optional.

The speaker system has a luxury rosewood veneer appearance. On top and bottom,
surfaces are treated with piano lacquer. Parabolic outer design greatly
decreases sound diffraction along the cabinet edges. The cabinet is made of
high density boards and reinforced by the Matrix Rib techniques, lowering
standing wave within the cabinet.

Front speaker Diva 6.3F adopts two 6.5-inch drivers. One of them is a
professional midbass driver with a diaphragm made of black Kevlar bulletproof
fiber transferring clear middles. The other unit is a professional bass driver
made with composite materials. Frame is made of high compliance natural rubber
folding ring, damper is highly stable. A combination of shielded magnetic circuit
and extended excursion linear displacement provides powerful but responsive
bass.

The ear-catching metal dome-tweeter utilizes Swan’s newly-developed aluminum
film technology. In addition, the magnetic circuit is re-designed. For
consistent listening experience, same drivers are used in center and surround
speakers. Sound is reproduced as it was meant to be during the creation
process.

Comparing with older version system, Diva 6.3HT has a compact size, easier for
floor and wall installation. Diva 6.3HT is a mix of many HiVi’s new
electroacoustic technology. It is relatively small, but bass performance has
surpassed all older versions, setting a new milestone for bass reproduction.
