I’ve decided to sell my Precision 6.4 speakers. I intended to give these to my parents but plans changed. The 6.4s were chosen over the Dynaudio X38 and I think you will be very pleased with them.

These are full-range speakers (29Hz to 35Hz) that can be placed near the wall because they have no rear port. It has an advanced ‘boat-tail’ cabinet design that minimizes reflections and vibration inside the cabinet, and provides near-electrostatic levels of midrange and treble detail. Efficient design that can be driven by 20 watts of power (90db sensitivity, 8 ohm impedance)

Positive Feedback notes a system with these speakers “came in at under $20,000, and seriously outdid several other exhibits I (at CES) heard costing more than five times the price.” In my opinion, they compete with speakers at the $8,000 retail level and are comparable to the $12,000 original Wilson Benesch Act Ones. It’s wonderful how far technology has come.

Hi-Fi World gave it 5/5 globes, saying “clear concise and accurate sound with exciting dynamics. Excellent finish.” What Hi-Fi says, “their scale, detail, and excellent stereo image make them a thoroughly enjoyable, not to mention impressive, listen, all finished off in a design that’s pleasing to the eye.”
