Tekton Design Releases The $12,000 Per Pair 1812 Reference Floorstanding Loudspeakers July 9, 2016 Orem, Utah - Today Tekton Design has released its newest, largest, most efficient and most powerful loudspeaker in the company's 11 year history. Priced at $12,000 per pair and offered in practically any color under the rainbow - this new, large-format loudspeaker is designed to best top audiophile speakers costing 10 to 20 times the price of the Tekton 1812. The Tekton Designs 1812 is powered by a January 2016 US patent (U.S. 9247339) that literally aligns the moving mass of moving speaker cones to the harmonic spectra of musical instruments. This is important and allows us to discern a higher level of resolution and detail. Because moving mass is mitigated as outlined in the patent the 1812 is also one of the most efficient loudspeakers ever designed in the history of audio. It can produce palpable dynamics that respectfully put other speakers to shame. The 1812 speakers can be run on low powered class-A or tube amps without any issues. "The sound of the 1812's literally blows people away with dynamics, resolution as well as accuracy." says Tekton Designs head designer and CEO, Eric Alexander. "People think I have lost my mind when I want to compare my 1812s to top offerings from Wilson, YG, Magico, Focal and beyond but it doesn't take long before they are convinced in the power of these unique speakers. The next hard part is explaining why the 1812s cost $12,000 - not $120,000." About Tekton: Tekton Design hand-crafts high efficiency, audiophile grade, custom finished speakers in Orem, Utah.
