Priced at $12,000 per pair and offered in practically any color under the rainbow - this new, large-format loudspeaker is designed to best top audiophile speakers costing 10 to 20 times the price of the Tekton 1812. The Tekton Designs 1812 is powered by a January 2016 US patent (U.S. 9247339) that literally aligns the moving mass of moving speaker cones to the harmonic spectra of musical instruments. This is important and allows us to discern a higher level of resolution and detail. Because moving mass is mitigated as outlined in the patent the 1812 is also one of the most efficient loudspeakers ever designed in the history of audio.
