If you are craving a DE facto high performance loudspeaker the 1812 is perfect for you.  
 
Note: the 1812 is not too big for your room. Sound simply doesn't work like this. A proper room absorption coupled with a palatable reverb coefficient is the key! If your loudspeaker set is sounding impressive today you've got a good sounding room reinforcing them. Scale everything up by replacing your current loudspeakers with the 1812's and migrate into the realm of shock and awe!
