Thiel Audio CS3.5 Floor Standing Speakers

San Francisco Bay Area only. This is a set of Thiel CS3.5 speakers with bass equalizer. For their age they are in great condition. Because of age and one small ding (see photo) I would rate them 4/10. The drivers are in fair condition with no serious dents and no damage that would impair their sound. The speaker grilles are in poor but presentable condition. The two grilles are slightly different shades of black. This is unnoticeable in most lighting situations. The wooden enclosures are in 7/10 condition. There is a small ding adjacent to the top of the grille on one speaker about the size of a fingernail, See the picture. The walnut veneer is outstanding and covers front, sides and back of speakers.

These speakers work perfectly and give great sound: smooth and extended. With the base equalizer they go all the way down to 20 Hz, 0 db depending on your room and positioning. See the Stereophile review on line--you can google it.
