Here's a classic pair of Vandersteen model 5A's with black finish.
This is a 4-way design that has a built in 400 watt power-factor corrected amplifier for the sub woofer.
1st order x-overs are used to maintain the phase relationship from driver to driver.
Another Vandersteen innovation is the built in 11 band EQ for frequencies of 120 hz down to 20 hz.
This is the area where your room can be detrimental to having good (smooth) bass.
I have the skid and new factory boxes that were only used when the speakers were sent to me.
The 5A's require an inline high-pass filter (balanced or unbalanced) that I will supply.
Shipping weight is approx. 410 lbs., buyer pays.
