Vintage Sound Shed Custom House "Cambridge" Front/Rear Loaded Horn for vintage Tannoy driver prototype

$750 obo is for the single prototype cabinet pictured. Welcome to a rare opportunity for setting up an amazing mono system (or pre order a stereo pair) based on a reference speaker design. Here is our single prototype speaker cabinet (no driver included) available for purchase. This is truly an amazing speaker that measured flat from 20-17hz in my 11x25 room with a Tannoy 12" HPD driver and custom made crossover.
This is loosely based on  a shrunk down version of a very famous extremely expensive speaker design. I will be making 2 pairs out of baltic birch, one in Walnut Veneer and one raw to be custom embellished, one pair for sale and one to keep. Pre-order pairs can be ordered for a paltry $3000 unfinished in baltic birch (add $1500 for veneer) unloaded without speakers included.    
We are already currently making 3-4 pairs for aficionados as the custom run of the "Cambridge" for the superlative Tannoy sound. I have heard most Tannoys, owned many, and these are as good as any. Other drivers would work as well but I would not know how they would measure. This was designed for both the 10 and 12 drivers with the 12 having more and deeper bass and the 10 having sweeter mid focus. Both truly outstanding and I have finally found my destination speaker.  You will never be able to buy a single cabinet of this quality at this price as it takes a good 30+ hours to build with around 100 pieces EACH not including the many hours of research measuring and design time (50+ hours, on cabinets, months on the crossovers) put into the project. I am working with an unemployed speaker engineer whose rate is currently 1/3 the normal rate and that is being passed onto the buyer!!!  Auditions welcome.
