I decided to not replace the original resistors. Instead I lowered the price from $4,900 to $3,900 but at this lower price the Buyer must pick up or pay for shipping and I will not deliver outside of a 200 mile range of Bozeman MT.
One pair of gloss black Wilson Watt/Puppy 5 speakers in very
good/excellent condition. No scratches or marks. Original
price for these speakers was around $18,000. Comes with brand new Diffraction
Blankets ($220) for both the Watts and Tiny Tots (still in package). Comes complete with Puppy Paws and Puppy Tails
and will be shipped to you at your expensive (550 lbs) in the four wooden
crates that it was shipped in originally. Sound is what you’d expect from Wilson Watt Puppies –
clean, bold, balanced, and powerful. Notes: (i) photo showing the pair is a factory
photo and other photos are of actual speakers being sold; (ii) speakers have never had resistors replaced because sound is great but local high-end retailer suggests that new resistors be installed regardless.
Price is adjusted from FMV to account for the fact that resistors are original.
