Very rarely seen here! Genuine New Old Stock (NOS) and New In the Box (NIB) pair of British production G.E.C. KT88 tubes in excellent working conditions.
These valves are made by The M-O Valve Company, Ltd. Hammersmith, London, W6 7PE, England.
Three ring getter construction (two side getters and one on top). Sourced from former Yugoslav army this tubes have been stored for over 30 years in a military warehouse. Original boxes – everything as it should be. Expecting life time is well over 10000 hours. Sonically not comparable with today's recent Russian or Chinese production.
Fully tested on my AVO CT160 tube tester with the following results:
Tube 1: Ia=80.8 Gm= 12.5
Tube 2: Ia=64.6 Gm= 9.9
Nominal value for 100% new tube is: Ia=57mA, Gm=8.0 mA/V
