A 2008 version of a surprisingly good sounding DAC that belies its humble appearance and price. Exceeded some other highly touted DACs I've had lately and is sure to please audiophiles. I rate it at 7/10 due to slight fraying of the cable jacket, but otherwise works flawlessly and as a bonus doesn't need any additional software...at least when used with the Mac.
