Up for sale is a PRISTINE pair of Harbeth Compact 7 ES-2 25th Anniversary Edition Speakers. This special edition speaker has the updated internal wiring and crossover.

These speakers need no introduction as their reputation precedes themselves… Sam Tellig of Stereophile states, “The Harbeth Audio Compact 7ES-2 is one of the best sounding speakers I have had the pleasure of reviewing over the past 20 years.”

It was love at first listen when I hooked up these speakers to my McIntosh rig! So much so, I have upgraded up the Harbeth line, thus the sale of these wonderful speakers to a fellow Audiogon Member.

If you have been waiting for a very clean and pampered pair of C7-ES-2’s to become available or wanting to try the “Harbeth Sound”, but don’t want to pay close to $4K for the current model, this is your chance to bring these beautiful sounding speakers into your system for about 50% off!

Also, I had these set up just a few inches from the back wall and the bass was GREAT, tight, and NOT BOOMY! I’m sure they would sound even better if I did more room treatments, but I’m glad I didn’t believe the “hype” that they were be too big for my smaller listening room (11’ x 12’ x 9’).

You won’t find the 25th Anniversary models very often, especially in this condition, with the factory jumpers, certificate, double boxes, and shipping material.

I obtained these from a very respected Audiogon member who purchased them from an Authorized Dealer and they have been babied ever since in a pet/smoke/kid free home. They have only been placed on proper stands (SKYLAN) and never played at high volumes.

If you prefer to bi-wire or bi-amp your speakers, this is the last Compact 7 model to have four (4) binding posts. The current version only has two (2). Either way, the factory jumpers will allow using single spade or banana termination.
