I took this TT in trade about 30 years ago in a package deal for some speakers I wanted. Since I had a new Mitsubishi LT-30 at the time, this went into my bedroom closet where it has sat ever since.
It comes with two Rabco tone arms. The power, output, and ground cables are "captive" and obviously included. The second Rabco has its own case and is pictured next to the TT. I do not have the original box or owners manual.
The main power switch is a rocker type located under the front edge. Once powered up there are six electrodes (three sets of two) on the top/front/right that control the platter. When the middle pair is touched it lights up red and the platter stops. When the pair to the right is touched the platter spins but the electrodes do not light......I'm only assuming they're supposed to but I'm not sure. When the pair to the left are touched it does not seem to have any effect nor do they light up.
The lighting for the speed adjustment works fine and when I turned the unit on the speed was actually perfect after 30 years! While this may lead us to believe the the belt is in good shape, remember it's at least 30 years old so I would plan on getting a replacement belt.
From what I've read about this unit, if you like to "tweak", this is your kind of TT. If you don't like to "tweak", this is probably not for you.
I'm really just looking for a good home for this so if you're interested, make an offer.
I am not comfortable packing this myself so shipping would require the added packing cost at the UPS Store.
I prefer a local / in person pick up.
If circumstances are right, I will do some of the driving within Connecticut borders.
Thank you for looking.
