The HT-HDMI Rev. 1.3C Category 2 delivers uncompressed high-definition video to accommodate the demands of the most sophisticated 1080p displays and sources (to distances of 15 meters or 49.2 feet), such as high-performance Blu-ray Disc™ players, as well as eight (8) channels of 24-bit audio at 192 kHz for the greatest musical qualities offers - far greater than the best CD can produce. In addition, you can easily gain control of your home theater, as the HT-HDMI cable is able to transmit remote control command. Category 2 high speed:The HT-HDMI Rev. 1.3C Category 2 cables have been tested to perform at speeds of 340Mhz, the highest bandwidth currently available. In addition, with the high speeds, it is capable of accommodating higher resolution displays, such as WQXGA cinema monitors (resolution: 2560x1600).

New mini connector: With small portable devices, such as HD camcorders and still cameras demanding seamless connectivity to HDTVs, the HT-HDMI Rev. 1.3C Category 2 offers a new, smaller form factor connector option.
Lip sync: Many consumer electronic devices today are using increasingly complex digital signal processing to enhance the clarity and detail of the content. As such, synchronization of video and audio in these user devices has become a significant undertaking, ultimately requiring complicated end-user adjustments. The HT-HDMI Rev. 1.3C Category 2 cable incorporates automatic audio synching capabilities to perform such synchronization automaticall with complete accuracy.
New HD lossless audio formats: In addition to HDMI’s current ability to support high-bandwidth uncompressed digital audio and all currently-available compressed formats (such as Dolby® Digital and DTS®), the HT-HDMI Rev.1.3C Category 2 cable adds additional support for new lossless compressed digital audio formats.
