Heed Obelisk Si and X2 integrated power and DAC

Hello. For sale is my Heed Audio Obelisk Si Integrated amplifier and X2 Power Supply. The Si has the built-in DACtilus coax DAC card. With the X2, the whole system works in dual mono at 50 wpc. This is a fantastic, compact, sleek, awesome sounding amplification (and DAC) system that has been very successful for me in making all sorts of sources and speakers sound musical and believable. I am the original owner and have all packing materials, remote, cables and instructions. I bought these new from the US dealer. The Si is about 4 years old, the X2 about 3 years old. They units have been used amongst many other amplification systems I have had, so each has about 1.5 years of use. Adding the X2 was a night and day improvement as the amp system now had much more control and authority with better stereo separation. The Si has the built-in Coax DAC option. An internal card which uses the left input of input 1 as a really nice DAC. This is the same DAC card found in the Heed DACtilus. This internal DAC was around a $400 option. Both units still have the plastic protective film on the black plexi front and both are in great condition. Hard to see is some slight wear on the front of the two silver knobs. That was from packing and results in my 8/10 ranking. You are also seeing some reflections on the highly reflective front plexi panels. The panels are perfect as always been covered in removable protective plastic film. The bagged cord sitting above the X2 is the stock supplied cord to go between the Si and the X2 and is included as well as the shorting plug if you want to run your Si without the X2. The remote controls volume and mute. If you have other Heed stuff, like a transport, it can control playback of that as well. These units retailed for $1,650 (plus $400 for internal dac) and $1,150 respectively, $3,200 investment total. I am selling as a pair only for $1400. If my asking price is met, I will include two matching Sunyata Diamondback power chords (one for the Si and one for the X2). Paypal preferred and I’ll cover fees. Insured UPS Ground shipping on buyer.
