Heybrook TT2 Turntable w/ Linn Basik Plus Tonearm

I acquired this turntable via a trade with another audiophile. This version of the Heybrook TT2 has a very sturdy cast aluminum sub-chassis and a Linn Basik Plus Tonearm and Linn armboard. It came with Martin Logan proprietary phono connects which tells me something about the original owner. I replaced them with Audioquest's Wildcat Tonearm Cable ($90) to get it up and running on my system. I also replaced the original felt matt with a new one. I do not know if this is the original belt but found it to turn the platter at the proper speed. I set up the table with a Sumiko Bluepoint No.2 cartridge and found it to be a pretty good performer. Speed was checked and quite accurate, tonearm is in great shape. This comes with the original box and a copy of the owner's manual. It did not come with the original locking screw but I found one the right length and with the correct threads so I am able to lock the unit for mailing. Plinth has typical wear for it's age but nothing drastic amiss. The only thing not up to snuff is the dustcover which shows it's age and has a small piece broken off the back right corner and a crack by the left hinge. I have the piece so it could be repaired with Weld-On 16 or if this is a keeper for you, a new cover is available online. There is also a small dent in the underside cover (bottom of unit).
