64 Audio U4 SE Special Edition [Template]

Unbelievable 4-driver IEMs with the patented ADEL technology that expands the soundstage (gets the music 'out of your head') while being safer for your ears.

The standard U4 is a bass-heavy in ear monitor for musicians and DJs. These Special Edition "U4 SE," however, have a more audiophile tuning. As 64 Audio puts it:

"what makes the U4-SE 4 speaker design truly special is a leaner bass that allows the mids to be more transparent while still giving you incredible balance throughout all frequencies. This U4-SE was created for the more discerning listener that craves detail and clarity without giving up the presence of an impactful low end. In this Special Edition model we've placed the ADEL module even closer to the speakers to absorb pneumatic pressures before they enter the ear canal which gives it a wider and more transparent sound signature. The U4-SE is truly a Special Edition product."

The detail on these is indeed ridiculous, but still incredibly musical and lively, rather than over-analytic. That's in part to the B1 ADEL module which allows for a larger soundstage than the other ADEL options. Further, this is compatible with all 64 Audio APEX modules, so you can tune your sound further.

Mine are just a few weeks old, and totally mint. I've been wearing the silicone flange tips exclusively (which I will clean), leaving the Comply tips untouched. Comes with hard case and all other accessories.

My reason for selling is simple: The sound is breathtaking ... but I just can't get used to having something in my ears. Drives me nuts. So looks like I'm stuck with my full size headphone rig.
