I have for sale an Integra DHC-40.1 AV controller/processor in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. I listed this about a month ago, but got called out of town on business and was not able to respond to all the replies, so I'll try again. I bought this unit from another Audiogon member last October. He told me he got it new in April 2011, so the unit is about a year old. I have used it sparingly in a clean non-smoking, non-pet environment and it worked fine, but I decided to upgrade to the DHC-80.2 model in December and this has been boxed since. I am rating 8/10 to be conservative since I am the second owner.
This unit is a 7.2 processor similar to the 80.1, except that it does not have the balanced outputs and uses a different video processor chip. It has 7 hdmi 1.3 inputs and 2 hdmi outputs, handles all the advanced audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD, and has the built-in Audyssey MultEQ room correction capability. What it does NOT do compared to the newest processors is 3D video and 9.2 speaker setups. So if you are not looking for those capabilities and just want a solid hdmi capable processor, this is a great alternative to a cheap receiver.
This unit comes complete with all the original accessories and packaging. I would prefer (for convenience sake) to sell locally in the Chicago area, but would be willing to ship at buyer's expense. I do NOT want to deal with Paypay, however, so please do not make an offer if you need to use it.
