I have for sale an Integra DHC-40.1 home theater preamp in black. This unit sounds excellent but I decided to upgrade. This would be a fine lower cost alternative for someone who does not need the balanced outputs of the Integra DHC-80.1 and especially for someone with an old processor who wants to upgrade to full hdmi capability and the latest 7.1 HD listening modes along with Audyssey room correction.
This is an A-stock unit (not a refurbished unit) in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. I am rating it an 8 only because I am the second owner, having bought it last October from another Audiogon member who tells me he purchased it new sometime in early 2011. I updated the firmware in October before I installed it in my system. It has been used in a clean smoke free, pet free environment. The unit is complete with original packaging and accessories, including the manual, remote, power cord, and Audyssey microphone.
I would prefer a local sale in the Chicago area if possible, but would be willing to ship within the U.S. only at buyer's expense.
