Today, Gold price is in the area of $1,650 per ounce.

The 26awg wire is a 30 micron 24K Gold plated Alloy which consists of AG (Silver), AU (Gold) PT (Platinum) and CU(Copper). This is an excellent deal, as there are other companies selling gold-plated wire that has less than 1 micron plating.
