Cardas Audio Golden Reference Phono 1.25 RCA

Cardas former top-of-the-line cable.   For
many audiophiles, Gold Ref was the pinnacle of audio cable design.  At the
time of its premier, it was the lowest-capacitance cable on the market.  While others are attaching battery packs to
cables to combat capacitance, Cardas designed a low energy storage cable to
start with!  Compared to many so-called
"state-of-the-art" designs, especially in today's market, it is also
reasonably-priced!   

The old Reference line was phased out as demand for Clear
grew.  However, if you’ve been following
the boards, many users felt Cardas alienated some its core audience in the
process.  George
himself missed the sound of Gold Ref so much that he reinvented it as Clear
Reflection.  And now Clear Light has been replaced with the
warmer-sounding Cygnus.  See the trend?

Golden Reference offers dense sonic images with
titanic grip in the bass.  They have the
neutrality and detail of Neutral Reference, without being as forward in the
upper-mids and highs, coupled with a fuller sound.  Their accomplishment is being full-bodied with being overtly
warm.
